  MARK YOUR CALENDAR for
Thursday August 21, The Newbold Town Lakes Committee will host a guest speaker, Patrick Goggin. The meeting is at the Newbold Town Hall at 5:30PM.   The TLC is comprised of representatives from the five organized lakes within the township.   You can see a full description of this event HERE.

DON'T FORGET TO MARK YOUR CALENDAR for the next LMPOA General Membership Meeting on August 30 2014 at 9 AM at the Newbold Town Hall.  This will be the final meeting of the year, and is always informative and entertaining.

JULY 6 - ANOTHER GREAT "FLOATILLA" BOAT PARADE, AND THE PICNIC thereafter, at the Muckelbergs.  The "Floatilla" broke our prior record with 14 boats partaking (one count was 17 boats) And, thanks-a-million to Pete and Connie Muckelberg for their hard work in setting up the picnic!  A great time!

   JULY 5 - FLOATILLA AND PICNIC/PARTY TODAY!
Floatilla starts at the boat landing at 2 pm, followed by a picnic/wienie bar at the Muckelbergs afterward - bring a dish to pass

MAY 24 - GREAT LMPOA SPRING MEETING -
and a great turnout for an very informative talk about the lake levels by DNR Limnology Specialist Susan Knight.*  There are 3 positions open for the board of directors, and we 4 people (to date) will be running for those positions in the upcoming election this September.  It's great to see this high participation level in the Association, and bodes well for Mildred and Clear Lakes.
